2024-2025 Club Executive Nominations

Nominations for the SWTC Executive Committee for the 2024-2025 season are now being accepted until Sunday, April 14, 2024!
Nominations Process
Eligibility - Adult members in good standing for the 2023-2024 season and who are not receiving remuneration from the L’Amoreaux Tennis Centre are eligible to be nominated. In accordance with the SWTC by-laws, nominees for the position of the President and Vice President positions must have served on the Executive Committee in the immediate preceding season prior to their nomination. This ensures the nominees have a thorough understanding of the Club's operations in order to be effective in these positions.
Positions - Refer to Section 7 of our Club Constitution for details on the duties of each Executive position.
Submission - Complete the 2024-2025 SWTC Executive Nomination Form. Each nominee must be nominated by two adult members in good standing for the 2023-2024 season. The duly completed and signed form must be submitted to the Nominating Committee via email at nominations@swtc.ca by Sunday, April 14, 2024.
Election - Should there be more than one member nominated for each or any elected position, an election will take place at the 2023-2024 Annual General Meeting on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Elections shall be made by simple majority.
